The 40-Acre Land Dedicated for Cow Fodder

The land taken for the nourishment of our cows is, for us, a sacred farmland of devotion. This statement is not merely a collection of words, but a true reflection of our spirit of service and selfless love for the cows. At KrishnaPriya Gaushala, we do not merely look after cattle; we treat them as members of our own family. Whatever is done for their nourishment is, for us, an act of virtue. That is why, in arranging their food, we never compromise.

At present, there are more than 450 cows in the Gaushala, including blind, old, lame, and accident-injured cows—those that society often considers “useless.” For us, these cows are sacred. Serving them is our true devotion, and we continually protect and care for them with dedication.

Sustainable and regular supply of fodder

For the sustainable and regular supply of fodder, we have specially leased 40 acres of land. This land is not meant for ordinary farming—it is a source of food for our divine mothers. No chemical fertilizers are ever used here; instead, fodder is grown entirely through organic methods. Just as a mother prepares food for her child, we cultivate this land with the same feeling—every single blade of grass grown here is part of a cow’s meal, and hence sacred to us.

This land is not a means of income, but a medium of devotion. We have no selfish motive here, because even if the cows give us nothing in return, their presence brings us satisfaction, peace, and spiritual fulfillment. The land that produces fodder for the cows constantly reminds us that service is not merely an action—it is a spiritual practice.

This 40-acre land is not our property—we have deliberately taken it on lease for the service of our cows. It is proof that no matter how many hardships we may face, we do not step back from our commitment to them.

Thus, this specially leased 40-acre land for fodder is not merely land for us, but a sacred embodiment of devotion, faith, service, and gratitude—our true “Farmland of Devotion.”

We never use this land for commercial purposes. This service is our social and spiritual responsibility. We firmly believe that if cows remain healthy, society’s health and culture will also remain preserved. Therefore, we consider this fodder cultivation as an offering for the health, longevity, and service of the Lord through His cows.
