WHO WE ARE
Krishnapriya Gaushala – A Story of Inspiration

Krishnapriya Gaushala is not merely a place for caring for cows; it is a beautiful confluence of devotion, faith, culture, service, and environmental conservation. Here, seva (service to cows) is not considered just a responsibility but a form of penance. Every moment in this place is filled with spirituality. Cows, the Ganga, and the Gita – the combined presence of these three provides peace to the mind, moral strength to society, and renewed energy to the environment.
In the courtyard of the Gaushala, the melodious sound of the flute constantly resonates. These notes not only sanctify the atmosphere but also positively affect the health of the cows. Research and experience have shown that listening to the sound of the flute reduces the stress of cows, improves their health, and increases milk production. This environment inspires a life of service, love, sacrifice, and harmony with nature.
Our Services
A tradition of performing respectful funerals for deceased cows is also observed here. This is not just a religious ritual but a symbol of compassion and the deep emotional bond with the cows. The principle of the Gaushala is that service should never be for commercial purposes. Milk, dung, and cow urine are not used for profit but only for essential and sacred purposes.
Behind this concept lies extensive study and experience. Visits were made to 65 Gaushalas across India to understand their work, management, treatment methods, and systems of service. The learnings from these experiences are evident in every corner of Krishnapriya Gaushala. Every visitor here experiences not just the service of cows but also the real values of life, the importance of living in harmony with nature, and the true joy that arises from selfless service.
